Dr. Mark Neel
Dr. Mark Neel was born and raised in Marshall. After graduating from Marshall High School in 1987 he attended East Texas Baptist University on a baseball scholarship where he met his wife, Dana. At an early age, Dr. Neel knew his career passion was dentistry. Dr. Neel attended Baylor College of Dentisty, graduating in 1994. While at Baylor, Dr. Neel was elected President of the Xi Psi Phi fraternity and was awarded the "President of the Year" award nationwide for his fraternities contributions to the Ronald McDonald Foundation. As a senior dental student, he was awarded "Outstanding Achievement" recognition by the Southwest Acacemy of Restorative Dentistry. Upon graduation from Baylor Dental, he and his wife established their home in Marshall.
Dr. Neel has a passion to continue his knowledge of dentistry to provide his patients with state-of-the-art dental care. He attends multiple continuing education courses annually to make sure the dental care he provides his patients is the best it can be. Dr. Neel is a member of an advanced dental training organization based in Dallas, Texas, The Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (C.A.R.D.) . This is a teaching organization in advanced education in dental esthtics, porcelain veneers, full mouth reconstruction, endodontics (root canals), periodontics (treatment of gum tissue), implant restoration, denture stabilization with mini-implants, and TMJ therapy. Dr. Neel has been a member of C.A.R.D. since 2004 and has served as a member of the teaching faculy for C.A.R.D. since 2007.
To better serve his patients, Dr. Neel has taken advanced training in Oral Conscious Sedation to provide an alternative to conventional dental care. Utilizing sedation, his patients can experience dental care without the worries of fearful sights, sounds, smells associated with conventional dental care. Dr. Neel is dedicated to making the dental experience as worry free as possible.

Dr. Neel is an avid Texas Rangers Baseball fan and enjoys golf. He loves anything that involves his wife Dana and their two daughter's, Reagan and Jennings. He also enjoys relaxing in the backyard with his dogs, Rebel and Ranger.
